Abstract. The article discusses the possibilities of using analogues of the international interbank SWIFT system, which can ensure the exchange of financial messages within the Eurasian Economic Community on more favorable terms and ensure the uninterrupted operation of payment systems and banks if countries are disconnected from SWIFT. The research methodology was based on the analysis of the literature on the research problem, generalization, comparison, and systematization of empirical and theoretical data. The paper studies the mechanism of functioning of the international interbank SWIFT system and provides a comparative characteristic of Russian analogues: Financial messaging systems from the Bank of Russia, CyberFT from the CyberPlat company and Transit 2.0 from the national settlement depository. As a result of the study, the most competitive Russian system was identified and the prospects for its use were considered.
