LEGAL REGULATION AS A SUBJECT AREA RESEARCH IN THE MANAGE-MENT

Annotation. The purpose of the research is the subject area of the discipline of legal regulation. More than twenty concepts that make up the essential content of the subject area are considered: object and subject, goals, objectives, problems, functions, principles, methods, risks, time characteristics, effectiveness, etc. The author’s scheme with the corresponding concepts is given. Research methods. The methods of system, structured and graphical analysis are used in the work. Results. A review of the literature on the subject is given. The subject area of the discipline legal regulation is systematized. The essential content of each concept included in the subject area is revealed, and a scheme of concepts is constructed. Using the example, the mechanisms of legal regulation for a new scientific field, image recognition and personal data storage – biometrics – are revealed. Conclusions. The study of any discipline should begin with the formation of an idea of its subject area, the problems of the subject area and its impact on public relations. The presented system of concepts of the subject area under consideration immediately gives an idea of the amount of necessary professional knowledge and possible directions of scientific research. Using the example of a new scientific and practical field “Biometrics” – the storage of personal data, the relationship of this area with legal regulation is shown.
