ENTERTAINMENT TELEVISION PROGRAMS IN THE INFORMATION SPACE OF MODERN RUSSIA (BASED ON CONTENT ANALYSIS)

Annotation. In modern Russian society, one of the most important components of life is recreation and entertainment, which are categorically lacking. There is a growing need for “light” pastime in order to distract from physical and psychological stress. In our study, as an “easy” leisure, we consider entertainment TV shows that are popular among modern television audiences. Note that any programs and shows, despite their apparent simplicity, model acceptable and unacceptable behavior in society. The purpose of the work is to study entertainment TV shows in the information space of modern Russia. We analyzed one hundred of the most popular television entertainment programs for 2022, the shows were selected by audience rating. In recent years, the format of many TV shows has integrated into the Internet versions of programs that are gaining popularity in modern society. We see the prospects for further research as the use of quantitative and qualitative methods to work directly with viewers. For example, conducting a survey on the topic of popular Russian TV shows or a semi-formal interview that will help us delve into the topic, identify the level of interest and awareness of citizens in the network of modern television broadcasting.
